Digital Program Management Co-Op

About this role

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team in 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.  

 

The Co-Op will run full-time May through mid-December.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Co-Op on the PMO team, you will gain experience to include, but not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:

  • Overall progress and health of projects
  • Status of milestones and deliverables across the portfolio
  • Financial information about the budget, forecast, actuals, margins, etc.
  • Project risks and progress on mitigating these risks
  • Operational efficiency, optimization, and project performance
  • Effective management and utilization of enterprise resources
  • Creation of project proposals and reports
  • Assist with problem-solving, overcome project blockers, and mitigate risks
  • How to facilitate collaboration across the business to deliver a market solution
  • Oversee and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Drive ERP transactions
  • Utilize stakeholder reporting software, create and distribute project reports

 

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields
  • 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant coursework or previous internships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
  • Pursuing Masters in related fields
